The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) is an Education Law
- That advances EQUITY by upholding critical protections for America's disadvantaged and high-need students;
- Has high academic standards;
- Includes statewide annual assessments and school accountability; and
- Effects change in our lowest-performing schools.
The Green Bay Area Public School District participates in the following ESSA grants:
- Title I A - Improving Academic Achievement of Disadvantaged Students
- Title I C - Migrant Education
- Title I D - Neglected and Delinquent Program
- Title II A - Teacher and Principal Training
- Title III A - Language Instruction for English Learners
- Title IV A - Student Support and Academic Enrichment
- Title IV B - 21st Century Community Learning Centers
- Title VI - Indian Education
- Education for Homeless Children and Youth - McKinney Vento Program
