Free & Reduced Meal Program

What is the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Benefit Program?

The National School Lunch and Breakfast Program is a federally subsidized program that is designed to help eligible children receive complete, nutritious meals at reduced or no cost. Families that qualify for free or reduced-priced meals can confidentially participate in both the USDA Lunch and Breakfast Programs at their schools. Information shared on the applications, and all student Food Service eligibility information, is kept confidential. Guidance for disclosing this confidential information is provided by USDA and is strictly prohibited. Disclosure includes but is not limited to access, release, or transfer of data.

A new application must be filled out for each household each year.

Click the links on the right for a printable application in English, Spanish or Hmong. Paper application packets will be delivered to homes in early August and available during registration/welcome back events at all schools. Applications will be accepted for the new school year after July 1st when the USDA and DPI make the new application and criteria available. Families are unable to pre-enroll in the free or reduced-price meal benefit program. The Campus Portal also has a quick and confidential application, click here to navigate to it under FORMS: https://greenbaywi.infinitecampus.org/campus/portal/greenbay.jsp
