Breakfast and Lunch Prices

This school year, all GBAPSD students will receive free meals under the Seamless Summer Option program (SSO). The USDA has extended the flexibility for school districts to provide free meals to students, and GBAPSD Food Service Department has elected to participate in this program. All students are eligible for meals at no charge. Families are encouraged to continue applying for the Free & Reduced Meal Benefits as usual, to certify children for free or reduced price meal eligibility status. The eligibility status, however, is not required for the free school meals through SSO but it does establish eligibility for other benefits, such as state reporting, Pandemic EBT (P-EBT), and other community programs.

Students must take at least 1/2 cup fruit and/or veggie at breakfast and lunch plus two other items to make a no-cost meal. Students can take all components offered to make a no-cost meal too! For example, a student can take a fruit serving, veggie serving, and a milk at no-cost OR students can take all components at no-cost.

Lunch is available daily in all Green Bay Area Public Schools. Breakfast is available in all schools this year as well.

Both elementary and secondary schools offer nutritious and delicious meal choices that meet the USDA requirements. The secondary lunch program includes a full meal deal, a wide variety of choices, as well as separate a la carte items for purchase.
Additional a la carte milk is offered to students as a part of a school lunch and/or sold as a la carte item(s) for those students with money in their accounts. A complete meal is required for students to purchase meals; additional or a la carte items will be charged as an additional price.

Free or reduced price meals are available to students of eligible households; please visit this page for more information on Free & Reduced Meal Applications.
